The Son of Neptune (Heroes of Olympus, #2) - Rick Riordan Updated - 2nd Oct 2013: Still as awesome as I remembered it before. Glad to know my present self still agrees with my past self that this book is finger-licking good, yum! Sigh. True, Jason has been great in [b:The Lost Hero|7624272|The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus, #1)|Rick Riordan|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1369501744s/7624272.jpg|10107891], but I miss Percy! Now we have Percy back, everything is alright. Amnesiac Percy or not, he's still Percy.

“Because I know you, Percy Jackson. In many ways, you are impulsive, but when it comes to your friends, you are as constant as a compass needle. You are unswervingly loyal, and you inspire loyalty. You are the glue that will unite the seven.”

And that's why I love him. Probably my most favourite demigod but that's a given. But still.

Admittedly, I still hate Octavian with all my guts which is great to know but then again who doesn't? That boy was practically asking for it, the git! Just thinking about him makes my blood boil.

I'm glad I've re-read this again; I almost forgot about Grandmother Zhang. Didn't she make one heck of a grandmother? I'd love to meet her in person.

“That's because we keep weapons in the attic, silly boy. Do you think this is the first time monsters have attacked our family?"
"Weapons," Frank grumbled. "Right. I've never handled weapons before."
Grandmother's nostrils flared. "Was that sarcasm, Fai Zhang?"
"Yes, Grandmother."
"Good. There may be hope for you yet.”

Or maybe not. Still, she was a kickass grandmother and I loved her for being one. Grandmother Zhang for the win, woot woot!

“Um...is that thing tame?" Frank said.
The horse whinnied angrily.
"I don't think so," Percy guessed. "He just said, 'I will trample you to death, silly Chinese Canadian baby man'.”

Arion! I'm not the only one who's in love with this horse, right?
